Rachel Zoe Reveals 'Insane' Moment That Led Her to File for Divorce from Rodger Berman
Rachel Zoe is explaining why she decided to legally end her marriage to Rodger Berman.
If you were unaware, the 54-year-old fashion mogul and the 57-year-old businessman announced their separation in September 2024 after 26 years of marriage and she filed for divorce this past July. They share two sons Skyler, 14, and Kaius, 12.
During the new episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills that aired on Thursday (January 29), Rachel detailed the “insane” moment that led her to officially file for divorce.
Keep reading to find out more…While speaking with castmate Erika Jayne, Rachel said that Rodger planned an unannounced meeting so he could introduce their kids to his girlfriend, right as the boys were about to leave for camp.
“My kids are leaving, about to get on a plane to camp, literally she f–ling appears. She’s there with him, shows up and says hi to my sons. What the f–k?” Rachel said, noting that the girlfriend has “never met the kids” until this moment.
In a confessional, Rachel said that she filed for divorce that same day.
“Just a typical day. I mean, it’s not one thing,” Rachel said, referencing what prompt her to legally end her marriage.
“It’s an absolute myriad of bad decisions that have been over the last month, the last weeks, the last f–king hour that would trigger me to move things forward,” she continued.
Rachel noted that she did not sign a prenup when she married Rodger, further expressing that she doesn’t want to receive or give any spousal support.
“I feel that this is a new beginning,” she explained, “and if we are separating and living separate lives and are separate people, I don’t see why I should be paying for that or he should be paying for mine.”
During another recent episode of RHOBH, Rachel slammed Rodger for going public with his girlfriend before telling their kids.
