Sensex, Nifty updates on 02 February 2026: Closing bell: Indian equity benchmarks rebounded on Monday after Sunday’s budget-day slump. The Sensex rose 1.17% to 81,666.46 and Nifty 50 climbed 1.06% to 25,088.4, led by gains in infrastructure stocks and Reliance Industries. The rupee strengthened 0.51% to 91.51 versus the U.S. dollar.
