Central Pollution Control Board has ordered the immediate shutdown of units 6 and 8 at Parli Thermal Power Station in Beed district. This action follows repeated violations including high PM emissions and illegal operation. The power station's consent to operate expired in December 2024. Effluent and sewage disposal into drains were also noted.
