This note is allegedly from someone who knows information about the kidnapper’s identity. They apparently went to TMZ after attempting to contact Savannah Guthrie and her siblings Annie and Camron. FBI released photos of a person-of-interest in this abduction less than 24 hours ago.
TMZ claims the note says: “If they want the name of the individual involved then I want 1 Bitcoin to the following wallet. Time is more than relevant.” If you don’t know, right now “1 bitcoin is worth about $66,000 right now.”
They say the Bitcoin address associated with the account is real, and it is different from the Bitcoin address given in the previous ransom note.
The latest update in this case had a man detained by police, and his identity was revealed.
The original ransom note, which was never verified to be real, by the way, asked for $6 million in Bitcoin in a deadline that has come and gone.
