Savannah Guthrie Sends Clear Message to Kidnappers in Latest Video

In a video released Sunday night, Savannah Guthrie shared a new message with the public and addressed those who either kidnapped her mother Nancy or know her whereabouts.

Nancy Guthrie, 84, was last seen at her home in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, Jan. 31. She was reported missing the folllowing day.

Now, two weeks later, her family is holding out hope for her safe return.

'It's never too late to do the right thing'

Savannah Guthrie has released several public messages throughout this ordeal. In her new video, the longtime Today co-host first said she and her siblings "still believe" their mother is alive.

“It's been two weeks since our mom was taken, and I just wanted to come on and say we still have hope and we still believe," Savannah said.

She then went on to speak to "whoever has her or knows where she is," urging them to come forward.

"It’s never too late and you're not lost or alone," Savannah added. "It is never too late to do the right thing. We are here. We believe, and we believe in the essential goodness of every human being. And it's never too late."

Investigation continues, potential DNA break eyed

The FBI and local authorities continue to work Nancy Guthrie's case. On Sunday, an FBI spokesperson told Fox News that a glove recovered in a field nearly two miles from Guthrie's home contains a DNA profile.

The glove also appears to match the ones worn by the potential suspect captured in the surveillance video outside Nancy Guthrie's house.

Approximately 16 gloves were found in various locations near the house, but most belonged to searchers who had discarded them. This particular glove, however, is "different."

“The one with the DNA profile recovered is different and appears to match the gloves of the subject in the surveillance video,” the FBI spokesperson said.

Sheriff refutes new report

A local Phoenix outlet had cited a source claiming investigators believe Nancy Guthrie is still alive and her disappearance was the result of a burglary gone wrong.

However, in a message shared with Fox News' Matt Finn Sunday night, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos disputed that report.

"Did not come from us. No idea and even though that is one of many possibilities we would never speculate such a thing. We will let the evidence take us to motive," Nanos told Finn.
