'World of Warcraft' Teams Up With Zillow For A Unique New Feature

World of Warcraft remains one of the most influential video games in history, and decades after its original release, a massively requested feature is finally making its way to the game: player housing. In addition, World of Warcraft is partnering with Zillow for a new feature.

In a press release sent to Men's Journal, Blizzard Entertainment announced it will be partnering up with Zillow to create "Zillow for Warcraft," a microsite that will allow fans to browse in-game houses for sale as if they were browsing real-life houses on Zillow.

"The microsite highlights a mix of player-favorite housing creations and early looks at Blizzard-built homes, inspired by iconic Warcraft styles such as Stormwind townhouses and Horde-influenced bungalows. Select homes are featured with a Showcase-inspired experience, including 3D tours and SkyTour-style visuals, offering an immersive way to explore standout designs,' said Blizzard Entertainment.

“Player housing is a milestone moment for the World of Warcraft community, and we wanted to honor it in a way that felt authentic and unexpected,” said Beverly W. Jackson, vice president of brand and product marketing at Zillow.

“Zillow exists at the center of how people think and talk about home, and gaming has become another powerful expression of that across generations. This collaboration brings two worlds together, celebrating home as both a place to belong and a place to escape into something that feels honest and personal," continued Jackson.

The service will be free and will not feature any actual buying or selling of in-game real estate. It is purely for showing off player creativity with the new housing system.

The housing system and "Zillow for Warcraft" will be implemented into the game with the release of World of Warcraft: Midnight, the game's 11th expansion, which will release on March 2, 2026.
