Re: Happy Hump Day ffs

Got a message today from our HR department: "Happy Hump Day".

I don't know what winds me up more: HR trying to be all "folksy" or them reminding staff how supposedly shit their jobs are that they can't bear the working week, especially not at this craaaaazy company.

Also generally, I can't stand people who wish you "Happy Tuesday" etc. It's toe-curling.

Rant over.

I intensely dislike the way HR departments want to be your best mate all the time, and go out of their way to make things "crazy" and "fun" and positive and that we're all best mates and buddies etc ... yet when you actually have a real problem with the company or a member of senior management they're instantly "go feck yourself" as they suddenly realise they represent the company and not the employee.
