The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company said it had net income of 3 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $2.15 per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.67 per share.
The maker of stun guns and body cameras posted revenue of $796.7 million in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $753.7 million.
Axon shares have decreased 22% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $443.47, a decline of 11% in the last 12 months.
