Nancy Guthrie Update Today: Savannah Guthrie Sends New Message to Kidnapper

It has been nearly four weeks since Nancy Guthrie was abducted from her home. Now, her daughter, Savannah Guthrie, has sent a message to her mom's kidnapper and anyone else with knowledge of what happened to her.

What Message Did Savannah Guthrie Just Send to Her Mother's Kidnapper?

Since Nancy Guthrie was taken, Savannah Guthrie has used her Instagram account to address the kidnapping several times. In her latest post, she's shared a Today show clip that highlights that the reward for tips is available anonymously.

Savannah shared a clip of her Today show co-host, Craig Melvin, talking to NBC News correspondent Liz Kreutz. They were shown discussing the reward money that has been offered for information that leads to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie. In Kreutz and Melvin's brief discussion, they confirm that the reward can be claimed anonymously. The video starts with him asking how it is possible to gain the money while staying hidden.

"How does the FBI go about guaranteeing that people who do reach out, that they actually remain anonymous?"

In response, Kreutz explained how the process works and revealed that experts say that the reward is "untraceable."

"Yeah, so Craig, experts say that, let's say you submit a tip, it qualifies for the reward, you want to remain anonymous. You can then pick up that reward at a neutral location that's decided, often a place like a post office. That reward will likely be given to you in cash, and all you have to do is show that unique PIN number that's associated with your tip. You do not need to show your ID. Experts say it is really not traceable and no questions asked."

Alongside the video, Guthrie included a caption urging someone to come forward and "bring her home" while bringing up the $1 million reward money that they stand to gain. While Savannah Guthrie didn't single them out, the post's message clearly applies most to whoever took Nancy Guthrie, since they're the person who is most likely to know what happened.
