Subaru Recalls 69,153 Cars Due to Fire Risk
Subaru Crosstrek and Forester hybrid drivers are warned of a potential risk of fire due to a fuel leak. Owners are advised to skip the parking or home garage and park their car outside.
Don’t Fill The Gas Tank Completely
Per the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Subaru of American Inc. issued the recalls of the 2026 Crosstrek and the 2025 Forester hybrid because when the gas tank if near full, an increase in temperature can cause the gas to spill out which puts the car in harm’s way.
Owners are told to keep their fuel levels to less than half, according to USA Today.
