Keira Knightley’s First Red Carpet Appearances of 2026 Show Her Bold, New Approach to the Public Eye

In case you missed it, earlier this week, in photos obtained by WWD, we can see that the Pride & Prejudice star made her first appearance in nearly six months at the Erdem fall 2026 collection show. For the event, she rocked a checkered wool skirt and a monochromatic blazer with another checkered pattern.
While we’re used to her arriving in bold styles, we’re not used to seeing her at two events in the same week.
In photos obtained by DailyMail from the following day at the dinner hosted by Erdem Moralioglu and Ruthie Rogers celebrating 20 years of Erdem, we can see Kinghtley made another super-rare outing. This time, she did a style 180 by donning an ornate baby pink, floral green gown and pastel makeup.
As we said, we’re used to bold style choices, but two outings in the span of 48 hours? That’s unheard of with the private star, and we’re excited to see if 2026 is the year fans get more of Knightley.

Knightley is no stranger to rocking bold looks, whether it be something that’s clowncore-esque or on the gothic side. Either way, Knightley knows how to rock something unexpected, and we love to see it every time.
In a previous interview with The Talks, the Nutcracker star discussed how she stopped caring about the random backlash she got (even on the red carpet) as she’s gotten older. “I learned you can say nothing, you can be perfectly smiling, wearing a perfectly nice dress at the opening of a charity and people can still despise you for it,” she said.
