1st LD Writethru: Germany's DAX index tumbles over 4 pct as risk-averse sentiment prevails
FRANKFURT, March 3 (Xinhua) -- Germany's benchmark DAX index plunged by about 4 percent on Tuesday amid heightened geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
The index dropped to 23,603.77 points, 4.2 percent lower than the closing points on the previous trading day and a three-month low during the intraday trading.
The index nosedived shortly after the opening of trading on Tuesday when the Trump administ
