Morning Briefing: Team USA Ironing Out Starting Rotation

Good morning, Mets fans!

Mets starter Nolan McLean will make his WBC debut in Team USA’s fourth game against Italy, per Joel Sherman of the NY Post. However, he did not report Monday with the rest of the team.

McLean is ill, which may put his initial start in jeopardy. Due to still being with the Mets in Port St. Lucie, it is possible he could start for the Mets on Wednesday, instead of facing the Rockies as a member of Team USA.
