Katherine Heigl Is Directly Replying to Many Instagram Comments Slamming Her Appearance at Dog Rescue Event at Mar-a-Lago

Katherine Heigl has already released a statement in response to her appearance at Trump‘s Mar-a-Lago this week and now she’s replying directly to fans who are slamming her.

The former Grey’s Anatomy star attended the Wine, Women & Shoes Benefiting Big Dog Ranch Rescue event over the weekend in Florida. The animal rescue charity fundraiser was co-chaired by President Trump‘s daughter-in-law Lara Trump and took place at his resort, so people have been connecting the event to political ties.

Katherine has stated that her appearance was all about the animals.

“Animals don’t vote… As a society, we should all come together to protect the voiceless and the innocent. This should not be a polarizing issue,” she said in her statement to Just Jared.

Katherine went to the comments section of our Instagram post and replied directly to people who were criticizing her.
