This jacket is available in a handsome shade of tan at that price (with a full size range in stock), and it’s also available in navy for the same price, though, for some reason, it has its own page. This jacket is no longer available on Barbour’s website, and, as far as we can see, Nordstrom has the best price on it.

The Whitstone is a true rain jacket with a 2.5-layer construction (shell fabric, waterproof membrane, and an interior backing to protect the membrane). It also features taped seams to prevent leaks. Overall, the waterproofing is robust, and the Whitstone has features similar to those found in techy outdoors-oriented layers.
Of course, aesthetically, it blows those gorpy jackets out of the water. The exterior cotton-nylon fabric has great texture and durability, and the minimalist pocket layout—two large patch pockets with hidden slash pockets behind them—gives the jacket a clean, classic look. Up top, the attached hood and stand collar provide plenty of protection, and the hood is adjustable with a drawstring, so you can cinch it down tight in nasty weather.
