The outgoing head of the Ms. Foundation says the fight for political equality in the U.S. is far from over. Teresa Younger has led Ms. Foundation for twelve years, a term that spanned the MeToo movement and the rollback of abortion rights nationally. In that time, Younger took on domestic abuse by professional football players and raised more than $100 million for the foundation's endowment. Ms. Foundation also launched its landmark report about the very small amount of philanthropic funding that goes to women and girls of color. Ms. Foundation was founded in 1973 by Gloria Steinem and other feminists.
