‘Negligent discharge’: Secret Service agent protecting Jill Biden shoots self in leg
Authorities are calling it the “negligent discharge while handling a service weapon” by a Secret Service agent protecting Jill Biden and the result is reportedly a non-life threatening injury.
He shot himself in the leg, apparently.
BREAKING: A Secret Service agent assigned to former First Lady Jill Biden shot himself in the leg Friday while accompanying her through Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), according to The Daily Mail.

A report at the Daily Mail said the shooting happened Friday morning while the agent was “on an assignment to protect Biden.”
Authorities said Biden wasn’t present when the shot happened, and her travels were not affected.
Secret Service spokesman Nate Herring said the organization’s Office of Professional Responsibility will be reviewing the situation that left the agent in a nearby hospital.
“We are grateful for our law enforcement and public safety partners who provided medical assistance.”
The report said, “A police cordon was in place outside of Terminal C at Philadelphia International Airport, by the American Airlines ticketing desk, KYW Radio reported. Officers were seen surrounding a black Chevy Suburban inside the cordon. The vehicle’s trunk and front passenger-side door were left open. A medic unit responded to the scene, but then left, followed by a police car.”
Security at American airports has been left in turmoil by the agenda from Democrats in Congress to deny officers pay.
Their campaign to prevent agencies of the Department of Homeland Security from being funded comes from their antagonism to President Donald Trump’s use of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the Customs and Border Patrol to enforce the nation’s border and immigration laws.
In order to deny those groups funding, Democrats have been rejecting all funding plans for the entirety of DHS.
Ironically, ICE and CBP are fully funded at this point, based on a $75 billion allocation in a bill encouraged by Trump last year.
Because of the funding blunders in Congress, Trump has said he would sign an order to immediately pay the TSA agents, saying he wanted to quickly stop the “chaos” at America’s airports.
