Shots fired during clashes between two Iranian groups in Limassol
Six Iranian residents of Cyprus were arrested in a clash between two groups at the coast of Limassol, that left three injured on Monday night.
According to the police, the incident occurred at around 8 pm on 28 October along the coast and involved six people aged 31, 43, 34, 34, 33 and 35.
The latter three were injured in the incident and admitted to hospital, one of them having suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
The police told the Cyprus Mail that it was too early to comment on further details of the case, but confirmed that the six individuals were expected to appear in court today for a remand hearing.
Investigations into the case are ongoing.
