Tokayev spoke of “Golden Period” in relations with China
The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that the Chinese leader is always a highly respected guest on Kazakh soil and that his visit is a vivid testament to the sincere and unwavering friendship between the two countries.
"The People’s Republic of China is a good neighbor, a close friend, and a reliable partner of Kazakhstan. Thanks to your personal support, Kazakh-Chinese cooperation is developing at an unprecedented pace in the spirit of comprehensive and everlasting strategic partnership. If we closely examine our shared history, we can see that relations between our countries have always been built on friendship and cooperation, without conflicts or obstacles. They have always been marked by mutual understanding and goodwill. The Chinese people have never caused harm to the Kazakh people," the President noted.
The Head of State declared that bilateral relations have reached a new “golden period,” significantly contributing to the sustainable socio-economic development and prosperity of both nations.
Tokayev also noted the symbolic significance of the Chinese President's visit, which coincided with his birthday, and wished him good health, well-being, and continued success in public service.
"In Kazakhstan, you are known as a great statesman and a wise leader with tremendous authority in the international community. Your name is inseparably linked with the progressive development of your country. I am confident that under your strong and authoritative leadership, the People’s Republic of China will reach new heights in socio-economic modernization and in improving the well-being of its citizens. We sincerely rejoice in your tremendous achievements in building socialism with Chinese characteristics in a new historical era. I deeply appreciate your kind attitude toward me personally and toward the entire Kazakh nation," said President Tokayev.

Xi Jinping expressed his gratitude to the President of Kazakhstan for the warm welcome on Kazakh soil. He noted that under Tokayev's leadership, Kazakhstan has embarked on a path of national renewal and continues to achieve new milestones in its development.
As a reminder, President Xi Jinping arrived in Kazakhstan for a two-day visit at the invitation of President Tokayev.
