President: Kazakhstan is already a progressive state

The President noted that the state aims to build a country of equal opportunities for all. According to Tokayev, Kazakhstan is already a progressive and rapidly developing nation that is attractive not only to our own youth but also to many young people from different countries, including neighboring ones.

“It is important to consistently strengthen our international standing as a kind of magnet for talent, breakthrough ideas, and innovative technologies. Every joint step we take, every decision we make today, strengthens Kazakhstan’s independence and shapes our bright future. The state and you, dear teachers, work toward a single goal — the well-being and bright future of the younger generation. That is why we will continue comprehensive work to raise the status of teachers,” Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized.

Tokayev: Teachers are key figures in building Kazakhstan’s future

The President emphasized that today’s August Conference is focused on quality education and the proper upbringing of the younger generation. He also pointed out that over the past four years, teachers’ salaries have doubled, and that education has always been a special priority for him.

“You may recall that one of my first decisions as President in 2019 was precisely about teachers. We live in an era of knowledge and science. In the context of globalization, only a country with advanced knowledge and new technologies will succeed. If we raise an intellectual new generation today, we will be at the forefront of global progress tomorrow. That is why supporting education remains the main priority of state policy,” Tokayev said.
