Arsenal have two fresh injury concerns ahead of Carabao Cup clash vs Port Vale

The club will be in Carabao Cup action against Port Vale in the third round on Wednesday.
Ahead of the game, the London giants have a couple of fresh injury concerns to contend with.
Noni Madueke picked up a knee injury during the first half against Man City on Sunday.
There were fears of a potential anterior cruciate ligament injury, but journalist Ben Jacobs has opined that he could be sidelined for several weeks rather than several months.
Alongside Madueke, there was another unexpected setback at the weekend. Piero Hincapie was absent from the matchday squad as Ben White and Bukayo Saka returned.
It was initially suggested that the decision was tactical, but manager Mikel Arteta clarified before the game that Hincapie was not fit to make the bench for the encounter.
He said: “Martin Odegaard wasn’t fit enough to be [on the bench], Piero as well, he’s out of the squad.”
Hincapie signed for the Gunners from Bayer Leverkusen on deadline day. The Ecuador international made his debut during the closing stages of the 2-0 win over Athletic Bilbao in the Champions League.
The 23-year-old played only six minutes against the Basque outfit at San Mames, but he may have picked up a knock during Saturday’s training session, which was behind closed doors
Arteta should provide updates on Madueke and Hincapie in today’s press conference. The Spanish tactician could also be asked about Odegaard’s fitness after another shoulder injury.
Arsenal are clear favourites to beat Port Vale on the road tomorrow. We could see Max Dowman, Kepa Arrizabalaga and Christian Norgaard making their full debuts against the League One side.
Hincapie will most likely make the starting XI too if he is deemed fit for the Cup tie.
