Ben White has now shared four-word injury update after Wigan game
Arsenal defender Ben White has provided an injury update on Instagram following the club’s 4-0 win over Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup fourth round yesterday.
The Gunners progressed to the fifth round of the competition with a convincing victory over the Latics. White started at right-back, but was substituted in the 79th minute with a hamstring injury scare.
Speaking after the game, manager Mikel Arteta said that White and Riccardo Calafiori are the only doubts at the moment, and the duo will be assessed over the next 48 hours.
White, on the other hand, has dismissed any injury concern on Instagram stories. The England international posted a four-word update: ‘Next round, no injuries’.

White got the nod over Jurrien Timber in the right-back position against Wigan. The 28-year-old had a relatively comfortable game. He completed 93 percent of his passes.
The Englishman also won three aerial duels, made three clearances and three recoveries. White was deemed to have suffered a hamstring injury, but has dismissed those claims.
Timber has been an undisputed starter in the league matches when fit to play. The Dutchman looks poised to replace White on the right side of the Gunners’ backline in midweek.
Arsenal’s next match will be against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League on Wednesday night. The Gunners travel to the Molineux Stadium to face the bottom-placed club.
The club were far from impressive in the 2-1 victory over Wolves in the reverse fixture. They required two own goals to save their blushes and need a much better showing this time around.
Mikel Arteta’s side are four points ahead of Manchester City at the top of the standings and have a brilliant chance to go seven clear before the Cityzens entertain Newcastle United.
