Arsenal could receive a double injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Aston Villa on Tuesday night.

The Gunners entertain the Villans at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow. It promises to be an entertaining affair.

Unai Emery’s side got the better of Arsenal with a last-second winner at Villa Park (2-1) earlier this month.

Manager Mikel Arteta will no doubt want to avenge the result with a victory against the Midlands outfit tomorrow.

Ahead of the game, Arsenal insider HandofArsenal has revealed that Kai Havertz has been included in the squad to face Villa.

A decision will be made tomorrow on his selection for the official matchday team sheet.

HandofArsenal confirmed in a separate X post that Ben White has an outside chance of making the matchday squad as well.

Arsenal picked up a third-straight league win last weekend. They registered a 2-1 triumph over Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Gunners had a nervy finish. Goalkeeper David Raya made a world-class save to deny an equaliser to the Seagulls.

The club could have easily won by a two or three-goal margin, and must be more clinical in finishing their chances going forward.

Meanwhile, Havertz has been spotted in team training in several sessions this month after an extended lay-off due to knee surgery.

His return to the bench for the first time since August won’t be a surprise.

Gabriel Jesus appears to be the regular deputy for Viktor Gyokeres upfront at the moment.

Havertz may not be rushed back into action, but could make a cameo appearance if required tomorrow.

White has not made the squad for the last three matches, having suffered a hamstring injury against Wolverhampton Wanderers at home.

BBC Sport reported that he could be sidelined until mid-January. It remains to be seen whether the £50 million signing is available on Tuesday.

If White makes the matchday squad, he could be drafted straight into the XI at right-back, given Jurrien Timber is doubtful after a training ground injury.

Declan Rice fared brilliantly as a makeshift right-back on Saturday, but Arteta would ideally want his services in midfield alongside Martin Zubimendi.
