Air Astana warns of flight delays from Almaty

Tengrinews.kz – Kazakh airline Air Astana has warned passengers about delays to flights departing from Almaty that are operated by Airbus A320neo family aircraft.
The carrier’s press service reported this on Wednesday, 28 January, in its Telegram channel.
It is explained that the reason is operational restrictions related to adverse weather conditions.
Air Astana recommended that passengers check the status of their flight on the airline’s official website before heading to the airport.

At night in the south and in the mountainous areas of Almaty Region, light snow is possible. In the south and in the mountains, there will at times be fog. Northeasterly wind shifting to southeasterly, with gusts of 15–20 meters per second in the east of the region. Air temperature at night will be –5…–10 degrees, in the north and in the mountainous areas down to –15…–20, and during the day –4…+1, in the north and in the mountainous areas –7…–12 degrees.
