Fog and heavy rain: storm warning issued across all regions of Kazakhstan

Tengrinews.kz — Forecasters have warned Kazakhstanis about strong winds, fog, and rain on April 3. In some regions, a high fire danger is also expected.

Mangystau Region — fog is expected in the north and central parts of the region.

Abai Region — fog is expected at night and in the morning in the north and central parts of the region.

Almaty Region — high fire danger is expected in the north and south of the region.

Aktobe Region — rain is expected at night, with periods of heavy rain in the west and center of the region; during the day, rain, thunderstorms, hail, and squalls are expected in the north, east, and center. Northwesterly winds will gust to 15–20 meters per second in the east and center during the day.

West Kazakhstan Region — fog is expected at night and in the morning in the west, north, and east of the region. In Uralsk, fog is also expected at night and in the morning.

Turkestan Region — thunderstorms are expected in the south of the region in the morning and during the day. Northwesterly winds will reach 15–20 meters per second in the south during the morning and daytime. High fire danger remains in the west of the region and is expected in the center and north. In Turkestan, high fire danger also remains.

Atyrau Region — fog is expected at night and in the morning in the south and east of the region. In Atyrau, fog is also expected at night and in the morning.

Pavlodar Region — fog is expected in the west, north, and east of the region. In Pavlodar, fog is also expected.

In Kyzylorda, thunderstorms are expected during the day.

Kostanay Region — rain and thunderstorms are expected in the south and west during the day. Fog is expected in the west and north. Easterly and southeasterly winds will gust to 15–20 meters per second in the south and west during the day. In Kostanay, fog is expected at night and in the morning.

Akmola Region — fog is expected at night and in the morning in the north of the region. In Kokshetau, fog is expected in the morning.

Ulytau Region — thunderstorms are expected in the west of the region during the day. Southeasterly and easterly winds will gust to 15–18 meters per second in the north during the day.

Karaganda Region — fog is expected at night and in the morning in the west and north of the region.

Zhambyl Region — fog is expected at night and in the morning in the mountainous parts of the region. Northeasterly winds will reach 15–20 meters per second in the northeast and mountainous areas. High fire danger remains in the center of the region.

North Kazakhstan Region — fog and icy conditions are expected in the north, east, and south of the region. Southeasterly winds will gust to 15–20 meters per second in the west and south during the day. In Petropavlovsk, fog and icy conditions are expected at night and in the morning.

Zhetysu Region — northeasterly winds are expected throughout the day, with gusts of 15–20 meters per second in the east and west of the region. High fire danger will remain in the north and south of the region from April 3 to 5.
