Knifeman Stabs Eight In Russian City, Shot Dead by Police
At least eight people were wounded in Russia’s northern city of Surgut after a knife attacker stabbed them on Saturday. The attacker was during a standoff with the police.
According to Russia’s Investigative Committee, that probes major crimes, the attacker stabbed passersby while moving along city’s central street at around 11:20 a.m. local time, the Telegraph reported. Police quickly came into action and liquidated the attacker.
