(AP) — A West Virginia police chief is trying to determine if an officer issued a jaywalking ticket to a city parking enforcement officer in retaliation to a parking violation warning. Deputy Police Chief Martin Kimball says the incident occurred just a few days after some officers received letters from the city's finance department, warning them that failure to pay for accumulated parking violations may result in warrants being issued for their arrest.

Former teacher acquitted of inappropriately touching student

(AP) — A former southern Kansas City parochial school band instructor has been acquitted of inappropriately touching a student. The Kansas City Star (http://bit.ly/1TUKqlx ) reports that 55-year-old Tod A. Barnard had been charged with two counts of second-degree child molestation and two counts of third-degree assault.

Whether it's the private bowling alley where Daniel Plainview torments Eli Sunday in Paul Thomas Anderson's "There Will Be Blood," the disarmingly simple Silencio theater in David Lynch's "Mulholland Dr.," or a single Victorian home perched on a hill of wheat in Terrence Malick's "Days of Heaven," Fisk has created some of the most iconic spaces seen on screen in the past 40 years.
