The Boston Red Sox have been using an Apple Watch to gain the upper hand while stealing signs, according to a report from Michael S. Schmidt of the New York Times.

The investigation began about two weeks ago, after the Yankees, currently second in the AL East behind the leading Red Sox, filed a complaint with the commissioner's office. Schmidt writes:

Raiders cornerback David Amerson has cleared concussion protocol, according to Michael Gehlken of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Amerson will start Sunday against the Titans. United Technologies announced its $30 billion acquisition of Rockwell Collins Monday, in a deal that would create one of the largest airline-equipment suppliers in the world. 

The final $140-a-share price tag that United Technologies paid represents an 18% premium over the $119 Rockwell was trading at before deal rumors surfaced in early August, according to Reuters.
