Ashley Monroe Sharpens Her ‘Blade’ for Ram Country

Few artists under the age of 30 have as completely realized an image as Ashley Monroe – the blond beauty, who will turn 29 on September 10, is not only recognizable for her unique voice (compared often to the great Dolly Parton); she’s also established a personal fashion style that unwaveringly stays on point. The Pistol Annie dubbed “Hippie Annie” by her bandmates, Miranda Lambert and Angaleena Presley, brings a bohemian sweetness to both her artistry and her overall presentation. 

Being a treat for the ears and the eyes, then, makes a visit from Monroe to the Ram Country studios an experience to remember. Monroe performed two songs from her latest album, The Blade – the follow-up to 2013′s critically acclaimed Like a Rose – and wowed with both.
