Board closes northern Iowa covered bridge
ROCK FALLS, Iowa (AP) — A covered bridge in a northern Iowa park has been closed after an inspection raised questions about its safety.
The Mason City Globe Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/1FlAmO4 ) the Cerro Gordo County Conservation Board on Thursday closed the bright red covered bridge in Wilkinson Pioneer Park near Rock Falls.
