Paul meets funding goal to work around Kentucky ballot law
(AP) — Sen. Rand Paul has secured enough money to help fund a presidential caucus so he can run for Senate re-election without violating a Kentucky ban on appearing twice on the same election ballot.
The caucus offers Paul's campaign a work-around to a state law that bans candidates from appearing twice on a ballot in the same election.
