Fox’s Stacey Dash Goes Birther Defending Ben Carson
Stacey Dash - the world’s most wooden, least insightful pundit ever – suggested Dr. Ben Carson deserves a pass for questions about his autobiography because we should be investigating President Obama’s “sealed records” instead. You know, the ones that are not sealed.
In a discussion about the controversy over the numerous questions raised about Carson’s honesty, Dash obviously had her talking points planned in advance (God only knows how much worse she’d sound otherwise). But even this obviously pre-scripted line seemed tough for her to get out:
DASH: We don’t even have the records on Obama. We have no records. His records are sealed. Why isn’t anyone investigating that?
The "sealed records" conspiracy theory is an offshoot of birtherism. Nobody thought to mention that Donald Trump’s birtherism has been completely debunked. Nor that the “sealed records” conspiracy theory is just as bogus. Furthermore, it’s ridiculous to be asking for investigations into Obama’s records this late in his presidency while giving a pass to a candidate who has no political record to scrutinize.
But the show’s #OneLuckyGuy, Judge Andrew Napolitano, leaned over and gave Dash undue credibility by saying, “Donald tried.”
