Warriors, Curry stir fond memories in Memphis
MEMPHIS - When the Warriors stepped off the plane Tuesday afternoon, assistant coach Ron Adams jokingly asked if the team had just played a game in Memphis because it all seemed so familiar.
“That was a huge moment for us,” Warriors interim head coach Luke Walton said.
After beating the Grizzlies, the Warriors still had to knock out Houston in the West finals and Cleveland in the NBA Finals.
Memphis had our number in Games 2-3, but the coaching staff made the right adjustment and the players executed the game plan.
