Enyinba have lost the first leg of its CAF Champions League preliminary match against Vipers SC of Uganda.

The match was played on Friday afternoon at the Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium, Kampala (UGA) with Erisa Sekisambu netting the only goal of the game in the 73rd minute.

The People’s Elephant welcome Vipers in the return leg which they need to win by more than one goal (if away goals are avoided) to qualify for the first round of the competition.

Meanwhile Warri Wolves will host Club Praia of Sao Tome & Principe on Sunday in Warri in the other CAF Champions League tie involving Nigerian teams.
