QB Vernon Adams to the 49ers? Odds are against it

Before he was the East-West Shrine Game’s Offensive MVP in January, he threw 26 touchdowns and six interceptions and led the nation in passing efficiency in 2015.

Adams achieved great heights in college, but many question if his height will prevent him from achieving NFL success.

Adams measured 5-10 7/8 inches at the combine, and his stature has drawn endless comparisons to Wilson (5-10 5/8).

Because they have a better chance of being successful at it.

Kelly said he wouldn’t completely dismiss a short quarterback, but it sounds as if Adams better have a heck of a highlight reel to land with the 49ers.
