The daughter of a cancer patient who hit her head and died from a fall in a Port Moody hospital said she’s disappointed with a coroner’s report for “glossing over” the issue of frail, unstable patients not being supervised more carefully. Jennifer Timer’s mother, Rosemarie Elizabeth Timer, who was 70, died at Eagle Ridge Hospital in 2014 of bleeding in the brain due to a fall she had while in the bathroom. A care aide was reportedly waiting outside the door, to give Timer privacy while toiletting.
