Clippers rally from 22 points down to beat Thunder
A night before their rematch with the Warriors, the Oklahoma City Thunder squandered a 22-point lead in a 103-98 loss to the Clippers in Los Angeles on Wednesday night.
The Thunder had only one field goal during that stretch, a 17-foot jumper by Kevin Durant.
Durant scored 30 points and Russell Westbrook had 24 points and 12 assists for Oklahoma City in the first of three meetings this month between the teams with the third- and fourth-best records in the Western Conference.
The Thunder went on a 24-8 run in the first half that included three-pointers by reserves Kyle Singler, Randy Foye and Dion Waiters, and built a 58-36 lead 1:17 before intermission.
Kawhi Leonard scored 27 points and LaMarcus Aldridge added 23 points and 10 rebounds to help San Antonio clinch its 19th straight playoff berth and run its home record to 29-0.
