In what is being read as a development of significance, the Government of Pakistan has agreed to cut off support to leading terror groups like the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), while the United States has welcomed the several steps taken by Islamabad to counter-terrorism, including the detention of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) leader Maulana Masood Azhar.
