Virtuoso Sarah Chang returns to the Bay Area
Local concertgoers whose memory extends all the way back to the early 1990s are not likely to forget when a pint-size violin prodigy named Sarah Chang burst onto the local scene with a phenomenal appearance with the California Symphony.
In the intervening decades, Chang has left behind the prodigy label while maintaining an active career as a recitalist and orchestral soloist.
Together with pianist Julio Elizalde, she’ll perform music by Bartók, Brahms, Franck and Ravel.
