Jury deliberation begins in former Boone man's murder trial
The jury, made up of eight men and four women, started going through evidence and over two weeks of testimony after lawyers presented their closing arguments in a Winneshiek County court, the Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier (http://bit.ly/1SxMMHg ) reports.
According to court documents, Alexander Fazzino says he found his wife face down in the bathroom tub.
Defense attorney William Kutmus described Emily Fazzino as a "sick woman" and rattled a bottle of pills while talking about Emily Fazzino's alleged addiction.
Previous testimony suggests Emily Fazzino had admitted to being an addict and Emily Fazzino's mother, Cindy Beckwith, even attempted to help her daughter detox in the Beckwiths' home.
