Way back in 1993, long before The Voice or even American Idol, a group called Girls Tyme competed on the granddaddy of all TV talent shows, Star Search. Girls Tyme didn’t win their round (congrats to Skeleton Crew, who scored four stars to Girls Tyme’s three), but they did quite all right for themselves once they were renamed Destiny’s Child. Perhaps you’ve heard of them.
