On Monday Vic Farrell and his grandson confronted five armed robbers who had broken into Farrell's house. The five robbers panicked and fled in a black Audi A3. At around midnight, Mindalore resident Casper van der Westhuizen, 68, was murdered during an armed robbery in Pannell Street.
