Super Eagles and CSKA Moscow forward Ahmed Musa has bagged the award of the Russian player of the week following his performance during the Moscow Derby on Sunday March 6.

The Nigerian who was called up for the Egypt showdown scored the only goal of the Moscow Derby in the 11th minute to give his CSKA Moscow side a 1-0 win over Spartak Moscow.
The keen contest saw Maciej Rybus (Terek Grozny) and Stanislav Kritsyuk (FC Krasnodar) succumbed to second and third positions respectively, from the votes in an award organised by championat.com.
The Nigerian captain has also hinted that he would be very interested in a move to his boyhood club Arsenal.

The striker was a target for table topping Leicester City during the January transfer window and the striker cum winger admitted the Foxes made a move for him.
The CSKA Moscow striker said only a move to Arsenal will appeal to him but noted that he intends to finish the season with CSKA where he has scored 12 goals this season.
