Lawmakers voice support for amendment to protect parks
(AP) — A bipartisan group of legislators is voicing support for a proposed state constitutional amendment that would make it more difficult to sell off Connecticut's forests and parks.
Democratic Sen. Ted Kennedy Jr., of Branford, said Wednesday at a news conference that he favors efforts to create alternative funding streams for state parks and forests.
