Popular grocery chain Whole Foods announced Tuesday that it has planned to install rooftop solar and solar systems across almost 200 Whole Foods stores, Food and Business News reported. In partnership with NRG Energy, Inc. and SolarCity, the solar systems installed in Whole Foods Market locations are expected to place the mega-chain within the top 25 corporate solar users in the nation.
