An institution born out of accident

Occupying the revolving chair placed right in front of the big glass window that looked out to the Cathedral opposite it, Ram Advani could always be found in his bookstore in Mayfair building. With him gone, the chair would be as empty as the city without him and many will still pass by his store looking for a glimpse of the “connoisseur of good books” the city looked up to.
