Leicester’s mayor Sir Peter Soulsby has announced plans to name the city’s streets after the club’s title-chasing stars.
Jamie Vardy and team mate Riyad Mahrez celebrate a goal.
The mayor says he will honour the players and manager Claudio Ranieri should they clinch the Premier League title this season.
Leicester has already honoured former England star Gary Lineker and they are ready to rebrand streets with the names ‘Vardy Vale’ and ‘Ranieri Road’ after star striker Jamie Vardy and coach Claudio Ranieri.

More than 10,000 gathered in Town Hall Square in 2014 when the Foxes were promoted to the top flight, and Soulsby says there is going to be a “much bigger event” this time.
“Town Hall Square will not be big enough this time,” he said.
“Leicester has honoured its sporting stars in the past. There is an area named after golfers and there is also a Lineker Road.
“It has been a real team effort, so as well as Vardy Vale we would need to have Schmeichel Street, Drinkwater Drive and Ranieri Road.”
Recall that a British film maker is already set to write a screenplay for a film on star striker Jamie Vardy.
