Governor Ayodele Fayose
The Ekiti state government has said that it will not reply to claims by Tope Aluko, that he was forced into reconciling with Governor Ayodele Fayose.
This was contained in a statement issued by Lere Olayinka, the special assistant to the Ekiti state governor on public communication and new media on Wednesday, April 6.
Olayinka accused Aluko of being “a perjurer and an unstable character, who speaks from both sides of his mouth.”

“As far as we are concerned, the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti State, which would be willing to accommodate even Judas Iscariot or the notorious armed robber, Lawrence Anini, (if he were to be alive), could keep Temitope Aluko in its fold – that is their business.”
“We don’t want a Judas in the PDP and anywhere near the government and that has been made clear,” he said.
Lere Olayinka had earlier reacted to the reconciliation between Ayodele Fayose and Temitope Aluko, the former secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.
He wondered how Aluko could return to the same Governor Fayose that he claimed rigged election because “he lacked integrity.”
