Popular Nigerian comedian Seyi Law who celebrated his fifth wedding anniversary by renewing his marital vows with wife, Stacy Aletile on Sunday, March 28, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, a fan and artiste gave him a painting of him and his wife.
After conducting an interview with NAIJ.COM, in his Lekki home on Wednesday, April 6, a young promising gentleman, Kassan Abass presented a sketch of Seyi Law and a painting of the comedian and his wife as they celebrated by fifth year wedding anniversary.
During the interview, Seyi Law disclosed the main reason behind his renewal of vows. He said: “The journey has been grate and wonderful, the most important thing is that we keep thanking God for where we are and where he started the journey with us. So, it has been a great journey. Even before I got married, I always said to myself that I was going to have my marriage renewal after five years. That is also a form of commitment to each other.”

“It is getting difficult by the day in maintaining that institution, so for me it would be something I would also encourage other people that, you can all still stay in love. That was why we decided to renew our vows and commit our love to each other, so that the Lord that has kept us for five years will continue to keep and strengthen our union. Another thing is the fact that people need to know is whether there are children in the family or not the most important thing is to keep the agreement between two people who have decided to come together first while the children is secondary. So it is worth celebrating.”
Seyi Law who lost his cousin on Tuesday, March 29, in a gas explosion further disclosed that Godwin Tonte, would finally be laid to rest on Thursday, April 7, at Ojo, Lagos.
