On April 4th prisoners from multiple facilities in Texas went on strike in hopes that poor working and living conditions will be improved. Director of the Prison Justice League (PJL) Erica Gammill told Loud & Clear host Brian Becker that the inmates’ demands are “basic human rights” that should have already been afforded to them.
